In the first full week of April, we have chosen three recommendations for you to experience. From embracing the force of a pink full moon to eat Mexican tortas or When you get cunning with leather work, there are a host of events in the capital this week.

Embrace – the pink full moon Wellness party at Jinshang Yuan, April 12

To embrace the pink full moon that will be grace heaven over the weekend, Jinshang Yuan collaborates with some of Peking’s best wellness practitioners to host The pink full moon wellness party On April 12. From 1 p.m. 7 and run until 7 p.m. 19.30 the party mixes old wisdom with modern wellness practices that contain curated sessions designed to care for both body and mind. Rods in the powerful symbolism of the pink full moon mildness, self-growth and renewal-this collection is an opportunity for participants to restore connection with their authentic self and enter into a more expansionary, attentive existence. The pink Full Moon Wellness party will take place at Jinshang Yuan on April 12 from 7 p.m. 07.30, at. 19.30, the party is RMB 268 for a full day pass or RMB 66 for individual sessions, you can buy tickets by scanning the QR code on the poster above and reading more about the party here.

Eat – Tortas Wednesday at Pebbles

Pebbles recently updated their menu completely, and part of it included some brand new weekly offers as Tortas Wednesday. Exclusive on Wednesdays you can enjoy their Tortas (Mexican sandwiches) that contain their fresh, homemade Bolillos (bread). They have four different tortas to choose from: Tortas Ahogadas (RMB 65, depicted above) which has a carnitas filling and served in a toasted tomato sauce, Vegan Ahogadas (RMB 58), Milanesa (RMB 58) that is filled with chicken, and Carne Asada (RMB 68), which is filled with grilled steak.

Crafts – Intro to Leather Work, April 10

Thursday, Make me workshop will put on a Introduction to leather machining Workshop at their studio in Dongcheng. Participants learn about different types of leather and their suitability for different projects and the basics of attaching two pieces of leather together using traditional hand tools. Each participant will choose a project to be done to try the techniques they have learned and then go home with them.

The introduction to the leather machining workshop takes place on April 10 from 19:00 to 21.30 and costs RMB 200, which includes all materials plus drinks (coffee, tea, soft drinks).
