Plesk Obsidian 18.0.62 is now available for upgrades and new installations. Let’s look at a few of the features included.
Extended life cycle support
Introduction of Expanded Lifecycle Support (ELS) programDesigned to give you more time and peace of mind to migrate your Plesk server from an operating system to the end of life to a supported. Depending on the underlying operating system, this program runs:
- Centos 7 & CloudLinux 7.- 1 January 2026
- Seller Eol Date 30. June 2024
- Ubuntu 18.04 & Debian 10 – 1. July 2025
- Seller Eol Date September 2024 for Ubuntu 18.04; June 30, 2024
Until the above specified dates, Plesk will release updates and provide technical support to these operating systems beyond the seller EOL dates. Because supporting operating systems at the end of life incur additional development and maintenance costs, it requires benefit from this extended coverage option a monthly subscription fee.
To avoid additional fees and to make sure your servers are up to date, we highly recommend migration or dist-upgrade to a supported operating system.
